Why powder dosing by hand falls short
Weighing powder into every vial or well by hand is slow and introduces variability between samples. Static, humidity and operator technique all change the amount that ends up in each container, which makes results harder to compare across a run. As sample counts grow, from 24 tubes to a full 384 well plate, manual weighing becomes the bottleneck in the workflow.
How a mesh plate dispenser works
A LabTIE powder dispenser uses an exchangeable mesh plate sized to the dose you need. You fill the reservoir, place the dispenser onto your vials, tubes or wells, and slide it once. Every position receives the same volume in the same motion, in about 45 seconds for a full plate or rack. Changing formats or doses is as simple as swapping the mesh plate.
